|Cheesy lentil burgers

Cheesy lentil burgers - the cheese gives an awesome flavour, and it's great seeing little chunks of vegetables all the way through. These burgers are dense and hearty, not at all mushy like some veggie burgers are :)|

Those look really good, and I may have to restock on lentils just to try them.
I actually take great joy in being an organized and creative meal planner. I think about my menu and pantry stocks entirely too much. This is not to say other areas of my life are similarly tidy. :P
Haha I wish I could be that organised :)
i would love advice on this...sometimes i am uber good and fancy but mostly around 3pm i freak out trying to figure out what to cook =P

Well, for me, I have two ways of deciding what to eat: meals I decide to make b/c I want them, and meals I decide to make b/c they use up ingredients that I want to finish.
About once a week I take inventory of what's in the fridge and cupboard and think of things to make with them. Then I finish filling out the menu with meals I'm in the mood for. I write down the meals in one column and the ingredients used in another column, then I make a grocery list of the ingredients I don't already have.
Every time I make a meal or finish an ingredient, I'll cross it off the list. So after the first list, every week thereafter is just an update on a fresh sheet of paper.
Writing it out, it seems complicated! But just having a list of what I can make simplifies the decision process. I don't generally plan to make a specific meal on any given day, I just look at the list and decide what I feel like making.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you're using?
I'm looking to start my own blog in the near future but
I'm having a tough time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems
different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique.
P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
I'm self-hosted on WordPress :) I'd highly recommend self-hosted WP if you're looking to take blogging seriously / monetise your blog etc, otherwise if you want a free blog, I'd go with Blogger.
